This morning, I reread the story of when Moses was leading the Israelites out of Egypt. When they arrived at the Red Sea, they all started to doubt God because the Egyptians were closing in on them and they didn’t know how they were going to get across without drowning.
Long story short, Moses started praying, crying out to God for help and guidance...as any of us probably would’ve done. That’s what we do when we realize that something is “bigger” than us.
I couldn’t help but to laugh at God’s response! 😂
In Exodus 14:15, God responds, “Why are you crying out to me... raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water..."
This is how I interpreted....
He straight got smart with Moses. 🤣
“Like dude, what do you want Me to do? Look at what’s in your hand and use it!” 😂
That blessed me!
Listen, we spend so much time crying out to God when we already have everything we need! Read that again so that it can really resonate!
Before God even calls us to do anything, He has already equipped us with the tools we need for victory. What we need to get to the other side of wherever, we already have it in our possession...but here we are mad at the world because we feel that God has abandoned us where we need Him the most. We spend so much time in a “funk” thinking God hasn’t answered our prayers when the truth of the matter is, we lack the understanding...the mustard seed of Faith to see that God has already provided; we just aren’t using it.
Listen, you already have what it takes to start that business and carry it to the next level....you already have what it takes to receive that promotion within that company...you already have what it takes to go from just enough to an abundance. You’re stuck because you’re in your own way! You’re stuck because you won’t use what you have!
God says, “Listen, stop crying out to me and use what I already gave you. You aren’t waiting on Me! I’m waiting on you!”
That’s a WORD!
Listen, GET OFF YOUR KNEES, WIPE YOUR EYES, USE WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND & GET TO MOVING. ❤️
